Not surprisingly you can really taste the treacle in this one! It's another recipe I previously might have skipped over, but in fact was both straightforward and delicious, as well as being perfect for lunch boxes (or just scoffing at home with a cup of tea!).

Oh dear, I know it's rotten of me but this has made me giggle! I've made similar mistakes too but mine never turn out as well as yours has! Mostly I end up with cakes you could build a house out of because I've forgotten baking powder or some other vital ingredient.
