Me & Mine - April 2015

April has definitely been a month of highs and lows - we've had some glorious weather meaning lots of our time has been spent outside, in the garden or at the park. We also had lots of fun together as a family for Easter, and had a weekend away visiting my parents. And to top it off, Rosalie is now a fully fledged toddler!

Unfortunately we've also had some quite trying days where everything with Rosalie has felt like a battle, and I felt really low about my skills as a mother. Luckily I have some great friends who picked me up, and in some cases provided wine!

Although we have had several opportunities when we could have taken our Me & Mine portrait for April, I decided we'd take it today, which is our fourth wedding anniversary. I thought it would be a nice celebration of how our lives have changed in those four years!

We took these photos in our garden, in front of our cherry tree which is beautifully in blossom at the moment. Rosalie didn't seem to be very interested in the camera, or smiling, and no amount of bouncing, swinging or clapping could encourage her...

We are really looking forward to the coming months, with the weather getting warmer every day, and Rosalie getting more and more stable on her feet. There's a whole lot of different places to explore now we have a toddler!
