She is also making great progress with her talking. Her favourite words at the moment are bird, no and more. She has also managed to put two words together, saying night night and bye dada! This was very exciting, especially for Jim.
We've had a lot of frustration this month as she has been trying to do things herself - getting dressed, brushing her teeth, wiping her highchair tray, putting her shoes on. I know it's good for her to learn but my patience wears thin after she's put both feet down the same leg of her trousers for the twentieth time and still refuses help...
I've mentioned before that Rosalie isn't a very cuddly baby, so it is really lovely that she is starting to become a bit more affectionate towards us - sometimes now we get proper arms wrapped around our necks cuddles, and it feels amazing, I could stay like that forever. On rare occasions we get sloppy kisses, but most nights after putting her in her cot at bedtime she stands up, waves and tries to blow kisses, it's very cute.
So, Rosalie at age 16 months is:
- Walking
- Putting two words together
- Giving cuddles
- Saying no and more a lot
- Starting to copy us, especially with things like yawning and coughing
- Opening doors
- Enjoying pushing her pushchair with baby in it
- Feeding herself (messily) with a fork and spoon
- Using the climbing frame and slide by herself

Aww she's such a lovely little girl - but I know exactly what you mean about the frustrations of "me do it"!
