In the name of honesty, I have to tell you that I did in fact use a tin (borrowed from my mum) that was too small for the quantity of cake batter, so my oven was a little bit of a mess when I came to get the cake out, oops! The lesson here is, check what volume or dimension tin is required before ploughing ahead!
Anyway, the cake that was not baked to the bottom of my oven came out of the tin beautifully, and once covered in chocolate icing and drizzled in milk chocolate you'd never know such a disaster had occurred!
