Me & Mine - February 2015

Wow, where did that month go?! It only seems like five minutes ago I was posting January's Me & Mine pictures. Every day now Rosalie delights us with new things she has learnt, and particularly this month we have noticed her verbal communication really beginning to develop.

She is also on the brink of walking, which is incredibly exciting! And just in time for spring, for which I can't wait. But for now, I have been enjoying taking her out in the baby carrier, and we've tried to snatch outdoor time at the first hint of sunshine, making the most of it before the rain clouds come.

This is exactly what we did last weekend. And what a lovely time we had too.

We put Rosalie in the backpack carrier which she loves because she gets the best view! Daddy carried Rosalie and Mummy carried the picnic and the camera. It was a little chilly, but we soon warmed up and as we walked through the woods I thought what a great place to try and take a little family portrait for the Me & Mine project.

This may not be a perfect photograph, but then the camera was resting on a conveniently located tree stump, and I did have to dash into the photo after pushing the shutter button. But I love this photo all the same, it sums us up perfectly and captures us having some wholesome family fun!

Most important of all, we are all in the photograph together! Rosalie was so entertained by the beeping and flashing of the self-time function that we easily managed to get several photos where all of us are looking at the camera. A miracle in itself!

This next photograph isn't of all of us, but I am sharing it anyway because it's such a lovely photo of my two favourite people! Look at Rosie's rosy cheeks!

  2. Oh they're gorgeous photos - Rosalie looks like she's having a whale of a time! My sister has a carrier like that for her son and he absolutely adores it because he's so high up and can see everything, it looks like Miss Rosalie agrees with him!

  7. I love these photos, our youngest has just started walking too, she's still so tiny it looks wrong. I'm so excited for all the places we'll be able to take her and the new experiences this spring/summer, as obviously last year she was just in the pram. Great captures, you've taken a lovely one of your hubby and littly at the end too #meandmine

    1. Thank you so much :) I think she really loves the view from up in the carrier, better when she is awake than being snuggled into mummy's carrier! x
