Thanks to the beautiful weather we have been enjoying, the garden has become our new permanent play space, and we spend much of our days out there. Rosalie is happy to potter around collecting petals, stones and leaves, or we might get the pavement chalks out, blow bubbles, play in the sand and water, or if it's really warm, we get the paddling pool out.
Rosalie turned 18 months old on the 21st and we can definitely see that she is no longer a baby but a little girl - she looks so grown up as she stomps around the garden, or takes herself up and down the slide at the park. She's a spirited little girl, and that's why she's wearing wellies in these pictures. Her summer shoes just wouldn't do, she HAD to wear her wellies, for some reason which she kept to herself.
The same with the trike; apparently the trike really wanted to appear in the family portrait this month! But you know, you just have to pick your battles, so wellies and trike it is. I'm glad though, because I'll look back on these photos and know they are real and not forced.
Next month we are very much looking forward to our family vacation, woohoo!
Here is a bonus photograph of us all from our friends' wedding a few weeks ago - it's only a selfie, and Rosalie had just fallen in a puddle, but look how happy we are!
Hope you all have a fabulous July!

Ah so what if they're last minute photos, Jess - they're still gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that Rosalie insisted on sporting her wellies and riding her trike.
#Me&Mine xx
Thanks Jenna :) Toddlers!! xx
DeleteBut of course, wellies makes perfect sense in the heat we're having!! Aww bless her, they're all lovely pictures of the three of you :)
ReplyDeletePrecisely Carie!! She's crazy...
DeleteAw such beautiful sunny shots of you all Jess! Rosalie is looking really grown up in the photos this month. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie :) She does seem more like a little girl than my baby girl these days xx
DeleteAww, such lovely photos of the three of you, just gorgeous. And we've been tending to spend a lot more time outside of late too, isn't the world so much nicer when we all get a bit more fresh air. Thanks for linking up with Me and Mine. x
ReplyDeleteThank you Lucy :) It's definitely great to be getting lots more fresh air and some sunshine xx
